The Canadian Council of Muslim Theologians (CCMT) in collaboration with An Nasihah Publications invites all Maktab principals/responsible persons in and around the GTA to attend a special seminar with Mawlana Qasim ibn Sulaiman, COO of An Nasihah Publications, UK titled “The Organized Maktab”.

This event is specifically for principal and madrasah management.
Topics for discusion will include:
-Experiences of An Nasihah
-Aims of the Madrasah
-Qur’an Syllabus
-Effective Teaching of Islamic Studies
-Continuous development of teachers
The CCMT requests at least 1 male representative & 1 female representative to attend, up to a maximum of 4 representatives from each Masjid/institute.
This is a great opportunity for Maktab heads to come together and learn from an expert in the field, and discuss among ourselves how to collaborate on Maktab related issues in our context.
The seminar will take place on Thursday, 25 April 2019 from 5:00 – 7:30 PM

A detailed bio of Mawlana Qasim is below.
Shaykh Muhammad Qasim ibn Sulaiman resides in the UK.
Along with completing his GCSE’s, he began studying Islamic Theology in a traditional Islamic University, a Darul Uloom, where he studied Urdu, Arabic, Tafseer, Hadith and Fiqh. He completed the ‘Alimiyyah Course 9 years ago. The respected shaykh is a graduate of Darul Uloom Leicester.
He currently teaches at Darul Uloom Leicester and also at Madrasah An Nasihah.
He is also COO at An Nasihah Publications managing various educational projects in leading the way in making Islamic Studies education easy, enjoyable and engaging for children in Islamic schools, weekend madrasahs, maktabs and after school evening programs.
He is also qualified in delivering CPD accredited professional development and training sessions and has trained over 1500 teachers across the UK and abroad.
Having a passion for Computing, the Shaykh is a freelance Web Designer and also teaches Computer Science, Alhamdulillah.
The Shaykh has also acquired a qualification in Computing and in AET (Award in Education and Training).
